On June 6-8, 2019, the next St. Petersburg International Economic Forum was held, which became a record in terms of a number of indicators, in particular, in terms of the number of participants and the number of transactions concluded.

delegation of the Russia-Singapore Business Council headed by Deputy Chairman - Executive Director Sergey Pronin also took part in SPIEF-2019. Desmond Tay, co-founder and CEO of the Singaporean company vCargo Cloud, visited St. Petersburg together with representatives of the Business Council.

Currently, the executive structure of the Russian-Singapore Business Council (RSDS Trading House) and vCargo Cloud are working on the project on the integration of two electronic platforms: the Russian trade and service information B2B platform RSTrade, which is operated by the executive structure of the Council, and the Singaporean logistics platform CamelONE, which belongs to vСargo Cloud. About 82,000 companies from 23 countries are registered on RSTrade, CamelONE is represented in 15 countries, and currently controls about 12% of the logistics services market in Southeast Asia. Integration expands the capabilities of users of the two platforms, both geographically and by the number of potential partners, as well as by the volume of services provided. The combined interface of the two platforms makes it possible to transfer the entire transaction process to the digital space - from the selection of a supplier and placing an order to the delivery of goods to the customer's door, which is an important step towards automating the flow of goods not only between Russia and Singapore, but also between the EAEU and ASEAN.

At the stand of the Rostec State Corporation, one of the initiators of the creation of the Russian-Singapore Business Council, the RSTrade platform was presented among the projects that help to achieve the targets of the National Project "International Cooperation and Export". The platform is integrated into the Rostec system of export-import operations. And the corporation's enterprises actively use the resources of the RSTrade platform to promote civilian products and technologies to foreign markets.

Russian companies and associations seek to use the resources of RSTrade and other opportunities of the Business Council to promote their products and services to the markets of Southeast Asia. In particular, on the margins of the Forum, cooperation agreements were concluded with the National Association for Technology Transfer (NATT) and the Non-Commercial Partnership "International Association of Developers, Manufacturers and Users of Medical Equipment". Their conclusion will make it possible to expand international industrial cooperation and highly effective exchange of innovative experience, including Russian manufacturers and research teams. NP MOMT will use the platform to promote high-tech medical products. To this end, a specialized digital catalog will be integrated into the platform interface.

RSDS and CamelONE do not intend to stop there and have already announced that they plan to move to the second stage of integration, within which banking services will be expanded. To this end, on the sidelines of SPIEF-2019, an agreement was signed between the Russian-Singapore Business Council and JSCB NOVIKOMBANK. In addition to using Novikombank's services as part of a unified platform solution, it is planned to implement joint projects in terms of creating new digital financial services.

One of the key advantages of digital solutions is their versatility. The integrated solution of the RSTrade and CamelONE platforms can be applied not only in the EAEU and ASEAN, but also in any other region of the world. Thus, one of the main cross-border routes is currently the EU-EAEU-China-ASEAN route. Cooperation with Japan, one of the world leaders in the field of high technologies, is also very promising.

These opportunities were discussed during two meetings that the Russian-Singapore Business Council and vCargo Cloud held on the sidelines of SPIEF: with representatives of the Japan Association for Trade with Russia and the Newly Independent States (ROTOBO) and EPINDUO, the largest platform for the sale of Russian and goods from the countries of the Eurasian Union in China. The parties agreed to include the RSTrade platform in Russian-Japanese cooperation with the participation of third countries, using it as a key digital resource. Chinese partners are counting on a qualitative expansion of the export of goods from the EAEU to the PRC using the tools of the RSTrade and CamelONE integration solutions. In addition, transit through China from the ASEAN countries to the EAEU is also important. The parties discussed various aspects of possible cooperation in the B2B and B2C segments, as well as in the field of engineering, primarily contract manufacturing. The tools for this function on the RSTrade platform.

Recall that the day before, the integration solution was presented at the Eurasian Economic Commission, where an opinion was expressed about the high potential of its use in the project of digital transport corridors in Eurasia. At the Forum, the same idea was warmly supported by the head of the EAEU Business Council V.B. Khristenko and Senior Minister of the Republic of Singapore Ko Po Koon.

The integration solution was presented separately by Desmond Tay at the EAEU-ASEAN business dialogue held at SPIEF and was approved by business and government representatives, demonstrating that business supports integration projects, including the project of creating a free trade zone between the Eurasian Economic Union and the Republic of Singapore, which is at the final stage of preparation.

Thus, the results of the St. Petersburg Economic Forum allow us to hope for further development of cooperation between Russia and Singapore , EAEU and ASEAN, as well as multilateral cooperation between the EAEU, ASEAN, China, Japan and other countries. One of the key aspects of this cooperation should be digital technologies, including e-commerce, the development of digital services in the field of industrial production, technology transfer and foreign economic activity.

The Russia-Singapore Business Council is purposefully developing the tools necessary for this , acting both as a guide and often as a driving force for the innovative transformation of international economic cooperation.
