Evgeny Plushenko and Alexandra Trusova will perform at the opening ceremony of the international games "Children of Asia".
Two-time Olympic champion Evgeny Plushenko and 2022 Olympic silver medalist Alexandra Trusova will perform at the opening ceremony of the II Winter International Sports Games "Children of Asia". This was announced on Tuesday by the press service of the competition.
Plushenko's son Alexander will also take part in the opening ceremony. The event will be held at the Kuzbass Ice Palace in Kemerovo on February 25.
The II Winter International Sports Games "Children of Asia" will be held from February 23 to March 5 in Kemerovo, Novokuznetsk, Mezhdurechensk and Tashtagolsky district of the Kemerovo region. The competition program included cross-country skiing, short track, hockey, snowboarding, alpine skiing, figure skating, ski jumping. At the initiative of Kuzbass, curling, freestyle, and speed skating are also included in the program for the first time. A special feature of the games will also be the holding of demonstration and demonstration competitions in volleyball on snow and esports.
