Ticket sales for Beringia have begun

The traditional Kamchatka multi-day dog sled race "Beringia-2019" starts on February 23.

The competition will be held for the 28th time.

The opening ceremony will take place in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky at the Biathlon Complex named after V. Fatyanov. Then the prologue race starts.

Before this, 21 February, the children's race "Dyulin-2019" will be solemnly opened.
On March 2, in the village of Esso, on the territory of the sports complex "Olengende", festive events dedicated to the start of "Beringia-2019" will also be held. The race itself starts on March 3, 2019 in Esso and will last until March 20.

The annual "Beringia" is considered the most important event of the Kamchatka winter. From a sporting event, it has turned into an event that attracts many tourists from all over Russia and abroad.

To date, 15 participants have submitted applications for participation in the race. 11 of them are Kamchatka mushers, three are representatives of Karelia, Moscow, Khabarovsk, one is Swiss.

The most famous participant in the competition will be Kamchatka musher Valentin Levkovsky, who in 2014 and In 2016, he won the title of the winner of the popular race three times.
