By decree of the President of the Russian Federation, athletes who won medals at the Olympic Games in Beijing were awarded state awards. Among the awarded 7 servicemen of the troops of the national guard of the Russian Federation.


The Order of Alexander Nevsky was awarded to the three-time Olympic champion in Beijing and six-time Olympic medalist Captain Alexander Bolshunov.

The Order of Honor was awarded to Captain Denis Spitsov, who won gold ” and “silver” of the 2022 Olympics.

The Order of Friendship was awarded to Major Sergei Ustyugov, winner of the gold medal for winning the 4x10 ski relay, the winner of the women's ski relay at the XXIV Winter Olympic Games, captain Tatyana Sorina and junior sergeant Veronika Stepanova.
