Russian judokas won the international tournament

The judoists of the Russian national team won the Jigoro Kano International Judo Tournament, held under the patronage of Russian President Vladimir Putin as part of the sports program of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF). This was reported by the press service of the Roscongress Foundation.

The traditional tournament was held in a new format, a match meeting between the junior teams of Russia and the world took place. The latter was made up of the winners and prize-winners of the 2019 World Championship from Germany, Hungary, France, Turkey, the Netherlands and Tajikistan.

After six main matches of the match, the score was 3:3. In the decisive match, Daria Vladimirova brought victory to the Russian team, having won the second time against the Frenchwoman Tahina Durand. Valery Endovitsky and Irina Zueva also won the match.

The organizers of the tournament are the International Judo Federation, the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, the Judo Federation of Russia and the Primorsky Territory Administration.
