Russian guard won the second medal of the World Cup stage in Davos

Captain Sergey Ustyugov, an officer of the Ural District of the National Guard Troops, an outstanding Russian ski instructor of the highest qualification, climbed the podium of the World Cup in ski racing, which takes place at the famous Swiss ski resort in Davos, for the second day in a row.

Today, more than a hundred of the world's strongest skiers competed in the individual 15 km freestyle race.

Athletes had to overcome three laps of a 5 km distance, located at an altitude of 1500 m above sea level. The first half of the lap was an uphill, and the second descent with a gentle start-finish segment.

His teammate Johannes Klebo (+22.9 seconds) turned out to be in the protocol, the Russian Guard officer Sergey Ustyugov closed the top three, becoming the bronze medalist (+27.2 seconds).

Recall that yesterday Sergey became the silver medalist of the sprint race of the third stage of the world ski championship.

The next, fourth stage of the World Cup will be held on December 18-19 in Dresden, Germany, where individual and team sprints will take place.
