Russian figure skaters scored the maximum number of points at the World Team Championship

Anna Shcherbakova received 81.07 points for the rental. The second place was taken by the Russian Elizaveta Tuktamysheva (80.35), the third result was shown by the Japanese Kaori Sakamoto (77.78). The girls will present their free program on Saturday.

In the overall standings of the tournament, the Russian team continues to lead, scoring the maximum number of points based on the results of two types of programs - 35. The Japanese team is on the second line (27), the US team is on the third (25 ). The tournament will continue on Thursday with a short program for men.

Anna Shcherbakova won the last world championship in Stockholm, the 17-year-old figure skater is also a silver medalist of the European Championship (2020), a silver medalist of the Grand Final -prix (2019) and a three-time champion of Russia (2019, 2020, 2021).

Elizaveta Tuktamysheva 24 years old, she is the world and European champion, the silver medalist of the world championship held in Stockholm. The figure skater takes part in the World Team Championship for the third time.

The World Team Trophy is a commercial start held by the Japan Skating Federation with the support of the Japanese TV company Asahi under the auspices of the International Skating Union (ISU).
