More than 130 specialized centers have been opened in the kingdom.

It is noted that foreigners will have access to world-class services. Overseas Customer Service Centers launched across the country.

Earlier it became known that the Thai authorities want to introduce a mandatory fee for foreigners, which will cover their medical insurance. The amount will not exceed 100 Thai baht (about 200 rubles) and this will not affect the cost of tours to the resorts of the kingdom.

The Ministry of Tourism notes that the introduction of the tax is intended to ensure the safety of travelers. It will also reduce the state's expenses that are required to provide medical care to foreigners. If approved, the tax could be introduced at the end of 2019.

Thailand strives year after year to improve the quality of medical care for tourists. So, since March of this year, in the province of Phang Nga, doctors began to use a special boat, helping foreign guests in emergency situations.
