The WCT Pacific Cup will take place from August 30 to September 1.

The international curling tournament WCT Pacific Cup among mixed doubles, which is a stage of the World Tour (WCT), will be held in Khabarovsk for the first time. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Curling Federation (RFC).

“One of the main tasks of the RFC is to popularize curling throughout the Russian Federation. I am very glad that the Khabarovsk Territory, represented by the leadership of the region, supported our idea of holding an international tournament. Curling in Khabarovsk is recent, but it is developing quite rapidly, and these competitions will be a very good impetus for future young athletes to choose curling when they see the real intensity of sports passions from high-class professionals on the ice. I am sure that the tournament will be held at the highest level, and the audience will enjoy the performance of the world's leading athletes,” said the President of the FKR Dmitry Svishchev.

The competition will be held from August 30 to September 1 . The teams of Poland, Hungary, Kazakhstan and Russia will take part in the competition. Three teams will represent Russia at the tournament: bronze medalists of the World Championship Alexander Eremin and Anastasia Moskaleva, silver medalist of the World Championship Anna Sidorova paired with Alexey Timofeev, as well as the best couple in the WCT rating of the last season Anna Samoilik and Mikhail Vaskov.
