“Last year we hosted the Location Hero Run online. In four different parks of the city, the participants ran on their own, and could pick up their medals there, - says the director of the Courage to be the first corporate fund Saltanat Kazybayeva. – This year, due to the fact that the number of participants is small, and we have already worked out all the nuances related to ensuring sanitary security measures at the previous race (“Winter Run” on February 27-28), we decided to transfer the race to the usual format. The runners were very pleased with the news that the races are gradually returning to the so-called “offline format”. Therefore, we are ready to comply with all norms and instructions as correctly and clearly as possible, but continue to hold classic running starts.

Registration for the event and payment for participation are available on the website almaty-marathon .kz. The cost of participation is 4 000 KZT per location. Registration will last until April 6, 2021 or until the limit of 300 participants at each location is reached.

Both runners and Nordic walkers aged 15 and over can take part. All participants who complete the distance will receive a finisher's medal. And the top three leaders among men and women at each distance will be awarded medals, certificates and gifts from partners.

Free open training sessions of the Almaty Marathon with a professional running coach continue in the Park of the First President. Training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday at 19:00. Pre-registration is required.
