Qatar said that the 2022 FIFA World Cup infrastructure was almost 90% ready.

The infrastructure of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which will be held in Qatar, is almost 90% ready. This was stated by the General Director of the Organizing Committee of the tournament, Nasser Al-Khater, whose comment was provided to TASS by the press service of the Supreme Committee for the Holding and Legacy of the 2022 World Cup.

“If we talk about the infrastructure of the World Cup, then in everything is excellent in the construction of all projects is almost 90% completed,  said Nacser  ;Al-Khater. — Now our focus is shifting from building facilities to finishing detailing operational plans and preparing services for fans. We will now also focus on promoting and covering the 2022 World Cup so that as many people as possible can visit Qatar and enjoy a unique World Cup."

President of the International Football Federation (FIFA) Gianni Infantino on October 6, as part of a meeting with the organizers of the World Cup, took part in a friendly match at the Al- Byte", which is at the final stage of construction.

The World Cup in Qatar will be held from 21 November to 18 December 2022.
