Chechen "Veduchi" hosted a cycling tournament for the first time

The resort hosted a downhill mountain bike competition for the Ramzan Kadyrov Cup.


The novice racer Said-Magomed Musadov became the champion among adults. He beat the masters on the "blue" track of 1.7 kilometers and showed a result of 2 minutes 57 seconds, according to the message of the company "Resorts of the North Caucasus".

Bicyclists from Chechnya and Dagestan took part in the tournament, many came to the competition with their families. The youngest athlete was eight-year-old Yusuf Akhadov.

The Veduchi resort began operating in January last year. On its territory there is a cable car with a length of more than 800 meters, as well as a track with a length of about a kilometer for beginner skiers. 

A summer cinema, bike rental, a children's recreation area, as well as playgrounds for team games have been created. By 2025, it is planned to build 17 ski slopes of varying difficulty, seven of them will appear by 2022.
