Wine festival kicked off in Cyprus

The holiday has been held since 1961 in the city park of Limassol from August 30 to September 8.
Visitors are traditionally greeted by a sculpture of a butler, a live orchestra with incendiary music and an amazing atmosphere of goodwill.
Guests taste national dishes and wines, get acquainted with the local flavor, learn about the history of winemaking in Cyprus, which has more than five thousand years, and take pictures with Vrakas - symbols of the festival.
In addition, the guests of the festival participate in the competition "pressure of grapes hell with their feet" and enjoy the performances of creative teams.
The organizers have also prepared a nice bonus - each visitor of the festival receives a bottle of wine.
Earlier this month, Cyprus hosted the annual Peach Festival. It took place in the picturesque village of Kato Milos in the Pitsilia region.
Local farmers presented their juicy and fragrant products. Guests could not only buy peaches, but also taste them directly at the celebration for free. An abundance of peach preparations was offered - jam, compotes, pies, various desserts and much more.
