Vladimir Putin invited businessmen from BRICS countries to the WEF

Russian President Vladimir Putin has invited BRICS businessmen to the Eastern Economic Forum, which this year will be held from September 5 to 8 in Vladivostok. 


The head of state said this in his welcoming speech at the BRICS business forum currently taking place in China.


"Taking this opportunity, I am pleased to invite representatives of your states to the Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held in Vladivostok in early September, where many issues relevant to the business community of the BRICS countries will also be discussed," he saidVladimir Putin in greeting to the participants of the BRICS Business Forum.


The traditional BRICS Business Forum brought together representatives of government and business circles, experts and industry specialists from the countries of this association.


The Eastern Economic Forum is a key international platform for creating and strengthening ties between the Russian and global investment community, comprehensive expert assessment of the economic potential of the Russian Far East, presentation of its investment opportunities and business conditions in the territories of advanced development.


The VII Eastern Economic Forum will be held in Vladivostok on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU). The Forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
