Vladimir Putin congratulated Adygea on the 100th anniversary of the republic's formation

According to the President of Russia, the creation of the Adygea JSC contributed to the preservation of the cultural heritage of the region.


Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated the residents of Adygea, who are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the republic's formation. In a telegram published on the Kremlin's website on Wednesday, the head of state noted that the creation of the Adygea Autonomous Region in 1922 helped strengthen the social sphere and preserve the cultural heritage of the region.

"The creation of the Adygea Autonomous Region in 1922 largely determined the further path of its development, contributed to the economic recovery of the region, strengthening the social sphere, and preserving its rich historical, cultural, and spiritual heritage," Vladimir Putin said.

The Head of State noted that industrial and agricultural enterprises, energy, transport, tourism infrastructure facilities have been built in the republic for all time, as well as new schools, science, education and health institutions have been opened.

"It is important that you carefully keep the precepts of your fathers and grandfathers, their original customs and traditions, work fruitfully for the benefit of your native land and the whole of Russia," the President concluded, wishing all residents of the republic success and all the best.
