Representative offices of Dagestan universities may open in Uzbekistan

Representative offices of Dagestan universities may appear in Uzbekistan. The signing of agreements between educational institutions was discussed by the head of Dagestan Sergey Melikov with the Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Southern and North Caucasus Federal Districts of the Russian Federation Burkhan Alikulov.

"A proposal was made to open representative offices of Dagestan's leading universities in Uzbekistan. So, it is planned to sign agreements between educational institutions, including on the program of two diplomas," the press service of the head of Dagestan said in a statement.

The exchange of students, according to Sergey Melikov, will contribute "not only to education, but also to strengthen friendly ties between representatives of our republics."

It is noted that during the meeting, the Uzbek delegation also proposed holding a business forum, the creation of trading houses on the territory of the two regions, the organization of joint productions, interregional cooperation in the field of labor migration, the organization of joint travel festivals and the opening of flights of Uzbek airlines.
