The Chinese company Baidu has announced plans to launch its chatbot, formed on the basis of AI.
Chinese Internet company Baidu will launch an artificial intelligence chatbot called ERNIE Bot after its testing is completed in March. This was reported on Tuesday by the Xinhua news agency.
According to him, the Chinese chatbot will work similarly to the ChatGPT of the American company OpenAI. ERNIE Bot is able to generate logically related texts similar to human speech. Now the Baidu chatbot is in the final stage of preparation.
After the announcement of the launch of the chatbot, Baidu's stock quotes rose by 15.33% by the end of the trading session on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
ChatGPT was launched at the end of 2022. The service interacts with the user in a dialog mode. The chatbot can answer additional questions, admit its mistakes, challenge incorrect premises and reject inappropriate requests. The service's capabilities have attracted widespread public attention.
