ArMI-2022 competitions have started in China

The competitions "Suvorov Onslaught" and "Safe Route" ArMI-2022 started in China.


The international competitions "Suvorov Onslaught" and "Safe Route" of the 2022 Army International Games (ArMI-2022) started in China in Korla at the training ground of the Ground Forces of the People's Liberation Army of China (PLA). This was reported in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.


"This year in the People's Republic of China there are competitions "Suvorov onslaught" — a competition of crews of infantry fighting vehicles and "Safe Route" — a competition of engineering units," the message says.


According to the military department, cadets of the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command Order of Zhukov School named after Marshal of the Soviet Union Rokossovsky participate in the Suvorov Onslaught competition.


The Russian team in the "Safe Route" competition is represented by military personnel of the Engineering troops training center.


This year, two teams from the Russian side will take part in the "Suvorov Onslaught", one of which will perform on a modern domestic infantry fighting vehicle BMP-3, and the second — on equipment provided by the Chinese side — infantry fighting vehicles ZBD-86A. The Safe Route team will perform on equipment provided by the Chinese side.


In total, 9 teams from 5 countries (Belarus, Russia, Venezuela, Iran and China) arrived at the PLA Ground Forces training center to participate in ArMI-2022.
