Kazakhstan celebrated the Day of the Russian Language



"Pushkin is our everything!" ‒ more than three thousand badges with the catch phrase of the writer and thinker Apollo Grigoriev almost instantly scattered on June 6 in many cities, towns and even villages of Kazakhstan.
Russian Russian Language Day was celebrated here not only by laying flowers and reading poetry at the monument to the great Russian poet.

A record 800 people took part in the traditional flash mob of the Russian House in Nur-Sultan "Pushkins walk around Kazakhstan". On the streets of Nur-Sultan and Almaty, Balkhash and Ust-Kamenogorsk, Aktobe and Atyrau, Karaganda and Kokshetau, Taraz and Temirtau, Stepnogorsk, Semey, Petropavlovsk, schoolchildren and students, wearing Pushkin masks, asked passers-by to recall the biography and favorite lines of Alexander Sergeevich.

Famous metropolitan couturierAlexander Astafyev presented a unique "Pushkin" collection of T-shirts, created on the initiative of the Russian House together with the FF Fashion House, right at Bayterek.
An unusual poetic evening took place in the courtyard of the luxurious mansion of the Kubrin merchants. Russian Russian House in Nur-Sultan and the Russian Drama Theater named after M. Gorky were the organizers of the event.

Numerous spectators heard poems not only by classics, but also by modern poets performed by the leading actress of the theater Ulyana Shtilman. The special atmosphere of the evening was given by the fascinating sounds of hang performedTimur Shayakhmetov.

And the exhibition "How the Tsar's children learned to Read and Write" of the Moscow State United Museum-Reserve opened in the Russian House itself. It presents reproductions of unique books: "Primer"Karion Istomina, "Grammar"Meletiya Smotritsky, "Russian Grammar"Mikhail Lomonosov.
The exhibition will last until the end of June.
