Patriotic education of young people was discussed in Israel on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad.
International round table dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet troops in The Battle of Stalingrad and dedicated to the issues of patriotic education of youth, took place on Friday at St. Sergius Courtyard in Jerusalem. According to him, the main topic of the round table organized by the Russian House together with the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Stalingrad, the "heroic pages of the Great Patriotic War as the basis of patriotic education of young people in Russia and abroad".
During the discussion, the participants talked about a number of museum and educational projects in the field of preserving historical memory, Parkhomchuk noted. In particular, a story was presented about the Stalingrad Star of David project, which has been implemented since 2020. "The topic of our round table — the education of youth — is one of the most relevant now, even our President [Vladimir Putin] yesterday [at a meeting with representatives of patriotic and youth organizations in Volgograd] focused on this special attention," Parkhomchuk added.
