139 schools to be overhauled in Dagestan

The authorities of Dagestan in 2023, as part of the modernization of school education systems, plan to overhaul 139 schools in the region. This was stated at the board by the Minister of Education and Science of Dagestan Yahya Buchaev.

"This year we are continuing the implementation of the project "Modernization of school education systems", within the framework of which it is planned to carry out major repairs in 141 buildings of 139 schools of the republic," Yahya Buchaev said. At the same time, he instructed the responsible employees of the Ministry to ensure that all necessary procedures are carried out in a timely manner to complete the overhaul by August 15.

The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, together with the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation and the subjects of the Russian Federation, is implementing an unprecedented program of school overhaul "Modernization of school education systems" within the framework of the state program "Development of Education". By the end of 2023, 3,000 schools will be repaired in the country, and 7,300 schools will be repaired by the end of 2026.
