Turkey highly appreciated the help of Russian rescuers

The regional office of the Government Emergency Management of Turkey in the province of Kahramanmarash reported that all rescuers are working almost without interruptions in the hope of saving as many people as possible.
Ankara highly appreciates the help of Russian rescuers working in areas affected by the earthquake in southeastern Turkey. This was reported on Wednesday to a TASS correspondent at the regional office of the government Emergency Management of Turkey in the province of Kahramanmarash.
"Of course, we highly appreciate the help of rescuers who arrived from abroad, including from Russia, who help us in the aftermath of the earthquake. We all work here almost without interruptions in the hope of saving as many people as possible," the representative of the department said.
This is not the first time Russia has come to the aid of Turkey when it is facing serious natural disasters. In July 2021, Be-200ChS aircraft were leased by the Turkish side from the Russian Federation to extinguish large forest fires that started simultaneously in several resort regions of the republic.
