The ban on their work has been in effect since December 29.

The work of children's entertainment centers in the Novosibirsk region, suspended at the end of December, resumes from January 10. Andrey Travnikov, the governor of the region, announced this at an operational meeting of the regional government on Monday.

In December, Andrey Travnikov reported that he considered it necessary to stop the work of children's entertainment centers and rooms during the winter holidays to prevent crowding of children in small rooms where it is difficult to ensure sanitary security measures in the face of an increase in the incidence of COVID-19 among children. The restrictions came into effect on December 29.

"The restriction on the work of children's entertainment centers ends today," he said. The governor added that, despite the expected increase in the incidence, no new restrictions are planned to be introduced in the region.

According to the head of the territorial department of RospotrebnadzorAlexander Shcherbatov, the decrease in the incidence of COVID has been observed in the Novosibirsk region for the eighth week -19. However, according to him, a significant decrease is recorded only in the last two weeks. Thus, over the past week, the incidence has decreased by 23%.

Since October 12, the region introduced mandatory vaccination of employees of shops, beauty salons, fitness, personal services, catering, client departments of financial organizations, mail, MFC, transport, social security and Housing and communal services. Those who work in theaters, cinemas, concert halls, and at sporting events are also subject to mandatory vaccination. From November 10, couriers and hotel workers were also required to be vaccinated against coronavirus in the region. Since October 30, a system of QR codes has been in effect, confirming the vaccination against covid, when attending public events. From November 12, the code must also be presented to visit restaurants and cafes, as well as recreation centers and sanatoriums.
