The start of acceptance of creative works was announced on the official website of the Institute. Video postcards and congratulations were sent by students, teachers, university graduates, and everyone who wanted to thank the people who defeated fascism. The participants with deep feelings sang songs about the war and read poetry, including in the languages of the peoples of the USSR. They were also able to heartily tell about the fate of their heroes, about the contribution of representatives of different nationalities to the Victory.

“The Soviet people won the great, long-awaited Victory at a very high price. In the flames of war, 27 million Soviet citizens died, among whom were my countrymen - Ossetians, who fought shoulder to shoulder with a common enemy," said student Amina Gasinova.

“First of all, I want to congratulate the users and viewers of the media resource and TV channel “Greater Asia” on the anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic war. The project "The Great Victory of the Great Country" is intended to contribute to the preservation of the memory of the common feat of the citizens of the Soviet Union, people of different nationalities, cultural traditions, who stood up in unison to defend their Motherland, - said Igor Abylgaziev. - Cooperation between the ISAA MSU and the media resource "Greater Asia" is an example of the synergy of a modern media holding and an academic educational institution. The current situation associated with the spread of coronavirus infection and the transition of education to a remote online format is a certain challenge, and, at the same time, creates new prospects for joint work. Combining the key advantages of ISAA and "Greater Asia" makes it possible to create a basis for generating high-quality scientific, educational and cultural content, developing new interesting media formats and IT projects.

Our media resource will help Victory Volunteers from the Institute of Asian and African Countries to bring their creative work to a wide audience. All musical and poetic postcards are already posted on the site bigasia.ru. According to Alexander Lebedev, General Director of the Greater Asia media resource, “Today, the trend of personifying the Great Victory sometimes overshadows the collective contribution of countries and peoples to the defeat of Nazi Germany. It is important for the TV channel and the website "Greater Asia" to show its viewers the full versatility of the Second World War. The project "The Great Victory of the Great Country" is another step in the struggle for the triumph of historical truth," said the head of our TV channel and website.
