The military of the Russian Federation and Pakistan during the joint exercise "Friendship-2021" at the training ground of the Krasnodar Territory used the latest robotic complex "Uran-6" to clear objects. This was reported in the press service of the Southern Military District (SMD).

"The servicemen of the Pakistani special forces unit studied the use of Uran-6 robotic demining systems, got acquainted with the work of Russian colleagues in the construction of engineering barriers, demining the area, objects and overcoming mine-explosive barriers," the message says.

The military robot overcame mine-explosive barriers and cleared various objects. Also, the military engineers of the Southern Military District conducted classes on the electric method of blasting structures. "Also, the Pakistani military studied the installation of anti-personnel and anti-tank mines, improvised explosive devices and non-explosive barriers," the Southern Military District specified.

Joint Russian-Pakistani exercise "Friendship- 2021" will last until October 9 and end with a joint tactical-special exercise on the action of an assault company during the assault on a settlement and objects. About 100 military personnel of the armed forces of Pakistan and about 100 military personnel of the Southern Military District are participating in the exercises.
