The final stage of "MediAsia" will be held in Nur-Sultan

new week of the MedIACIA International Program will be held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan from October 4 to October 10, 2021 in online and offline formats.

The organizer of the event is the Information and Analytical Center of Moscow State University for the Study of Socio-Political Processes in the Post-Soviet Space (IAC MSU) | with the support of the Presidential Grants Foundation.

Students, undergraduates and graduate students of the faculties of journalism, international relations, regional studies and other specialties, young professionals and everyone interested in the subject of the program will be able to take part in the program.

The following topics are on the agenda of the week:

●   The role of Kazakhstan in Eurasian integration: history, analytics and current trends in Eurasian cooperation;

●   EAEU – investments, political decisions, forms of integration and interaction between countries;

●    New realities and challenges of Eurasian integration;

The International Program will include online lectures from representatives of the expert community and 3 offline master classes by leading journalists from Russia and Kazakhstan.

How to become a member:

Step 1: < /span>be a student, graduate student, graduate student or young researcher interested in the agenda of the program;

         – an aspiring journalist from Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan;

Online format - with connection to the page "MediAsia" in Facebook (open to everyone and gives you the opportunity to chat with leading experts on the topics of the weeks)

Offline format – available only for participants residing in the city (Nur-Sultan) where the theme week is held + who were selected based on the results of the online part of the program.

A week in Nur-Sultan is the fourth stage of the International MedIATsiya program. 4 countries and 4 thematic weeks: Dushanbe, Bishkek, Tashkent and a week in Nur-Sultan will allow program participants to improve their professional skills and deepen knowledge about Central Asia, as well as get certificates and get an internship in the field of journalistic analytics.

What is the result?

1. Certificate at the end of each week - for participants of the online format;

2. Participation in face-to-face intensives from Russian journalists. Important: available for participants living in the city (Nur-Sultan) where the theme week is held. At our intensives: networking, communication with partners and colleagues for promising cooperation;

3. An opportunity to get an internship in one of the partner organizations and write your first analytical text for the portal (IAC MSU)|;
