The Eurasian Women's Forum will be held offline

The Third Eurasian Women's Forum will be held in St. Petersburg on October 13–15 in person, with strict observance of all sanitary and epidemiological safety measures. This was announced on Tuesday by the vice-speaker of the Federation Council Galina Karelova.



“First of all, I would like to say that the forum will be held in person. Please take this into account. It is very important. The forum will be held in strict observance of all security measures, taking into account the requirements of both Rospotrebnadzor and the World Health Organization, ”said Karelova during an online marathon in TASS, which takes place as part of the forum.
< br> She stressed that the organizers of the forum are waiting at the event for all those who received invitations. “Given the new realities, the topic of combating COVID, prevention against infections, viral diseases, of course, is the highest priority for women,” Karelova said, adding that this topic will also be the subject of discussion among the forum participants.< br>
Earlier, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that the dynamics of the spread of coronavirus in Russia is “serious concern”, and the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova called the situation “actually extremely tense." According to her, the incidence is growing in 67 regions, and in 12 its growth rate is 20% or more, where “special measures are required.”

The Eurasian Women's Forum is the largest international platform for discussing the role of women in modern society . The forum will take place on October 13-15 in St. Petersburg and will be dedicated to the global mission of women in the new reality.
