This conclusion was made by the researchers of the company Ipsos Group after conducting a survey among the citizens of the Middle Kingdom.

It turned out that more than 88% of the population of China looks at life with enthusiasm and faith in a happy future. It is curious that the proportion of optimists among the younger and older generations is almost equal - 90% and 85%, respectively. In addition, modern Chinese are convinced that they belong to the happiest generation in the country and perceive life in brighter and more positive colors than their ancestors . Here, the opinions of young people under 25 and the older generation also coincide.

The study notes that the positive of the Chinese can be called comprehensive, since the question “Do you consider your nation happier than citizens of other countries?” Almost 78% of the respondents answered in the affirmative. At the same time, the percentage of positive responses among young people traditionally turned out to be higher and amounted to 89%.

The consulting company Ipsos Group has been conducting such a study for several years now. This time, the respondents were residents of China, Russia, India and other countries. In total, more than 40,000 people in 15 countries of the world took part in the survey.

The authors of the study draw attention to the fact that the Chinese have become the most positive nation in the world for the second year in a row. Moreover, the percentage of optimists has increased markedly. A year earlier, it accounted for about 70% of the population of China.
