China approves five rapid tests to diagnose coronavirus infection< br>
China Medicines Regulator approves five locally produced rapid tests for COVID-19 antigen.

Now the results of the rapid diagnosis will be considered valid, but the results of the PCR test are still crucial for the detection of the disease.  This was announced by the National Health Commission of China (NHC).

Zhu Huachen, Associate Professor, Hong Kong University School of Medicine:
< br> “The well-known self-test kit provides fast and convenient detection of coronavirus. This method is suitable for those who want results within minutes. This reduces the burden on healthcare workers. But since the sensitivity and accuracy of the rapid test is sometimes insufficient, it is necessary to conduct one more test - by the polymerase chain reaction - PCR method. This technology is fundamental in detecting COVID-19.”

The National Health Commission noted that the inclusion of rapid tests in the COVID-19 testing toolkit is aimed at early detection of infection . Self-diagnosis kits can be purchased at pharmacies or online.
If the result is positive, the sick person should report it to their neighbors and go to a medical facility for PCR testing.

Last A week in China, from 15 to 20 thousand new cases of coronavirus were recorded daily. Residents are actively vaccinated: in just one day, about 5 million people come to be vaccinated. In total, more than three billion doses of the vaccine against COVID-19 were introduced in China.

On the eve of the sowing campaign, snow-removing equipment entered the fields
More than a hundred large-sized agricultural vehicles entered the fields of Changji-Hui Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.  Using this technique, local farmers intend to remove all the snow in order to start spring plowing and sowing in time.

Agricultural technicians and agronomists of the district arrived to control the progress of work in the fields and sowing spring wheat.

Cao Aijun, Head of Chuantiandi Village:

“The sooner we sow spring wheat, the better the harvest will be. Snow removal will allow us to start sowing 10 days earlier. And this can increase the yield up to 500 kilograms per hectare.

Heavy snowfalls took place in Xinjiang this spring. The fields intended for sowing spring wheat were covered with a thick layer of snow.
