From September 21, Russia will increase the number of flights between Moscow and Egyptian resorts from 15 to 25 per week in each direction. The number of flights from other Russian cities, from where international flights have been resumed, has increased from one to three weekly, the coronavirus task force told reporters on Monday.



“It was decided from September 21 to increase the number of regular flights on a reciprocal basis with the following states: Egypt - on the routes Moscow - Hurghada and Moscow - Sharm el-Sheikh from 15 to 25 flights per week on each route; from the points of the Russian Federation, from which international flights have been resumed, to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh - from 1 to 3 flights per week on each route," the message says.

"In addition, , a decision was made to resume flights to Turkey and Egypt from the international airports of Pskov, Magadan, Murmansk and Chita from September 21,” the headquarters noted.

The headquarters also decided to increase the number of flights to Hungary, Kazakhstan from the same date and Qatar. In particular, the number of flights on the route St. Petersburg — Budapest will increase from 2 to 4 per week, and a flight from Sochi to Doha will be opened (once a week).

The number of flights from Moscow to Nur-Sultan and Alma -Atu will increase to 7 per week on each route, and once a week there will be flights to Karaganda, Shymkent, Aktau, Kustanai from Moscow, to Nur-Sultan from St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Novosibirsk and Omsk. It is also allowed to fly once a week to Aktau from Makhachkala and Grozny, to Alma-Ata from Kaliningrad, to Pavlodar and Petropavlovsk from Omsk. of the year. At the end of last month, the number of flights from Moscow to Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh was tripled - from 5 to 15 per week - on each route.
