Russian compatriots abroad will be offered to move to Yakutia

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation has agreed on a draft subprogram for the resettlement of compatriots in Yakutia.


The Government of the Russian Federation has agreed on a draft subprogram to assist voluntary resettlement in Yakutia compatriots who live abroad. The corresponding decree signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian FederationBy Mikhail Mishustin, published on the official Internet portal of legal information on Thursday.


"To coordinate the draft subprogram "Assistance to the voluntary resettlement of compatriots living abroad to the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)" of the state program of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) "Assistance to employment of the population of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) for 2020-2024," the message reads.


A program is being implemented in Russia to resettle compatriots in the Russian Federation, the Far East has been identified as a priority resettlement zone. Citizens who have received a certificate of a compatriot can get a plot of land with an area of up to 1 hectare in an advanced way, without waiting for citizenship.
