The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia has sent an airmobile hospital to Turkey to assist victims of the earthquake directly in the disaster zone.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, Russian rescuers will deliver an airmobile hospital to the emergency zone for prompt assistance to victims of the earthquake. "On its basis, more than 40 specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia will provide qualified medical care," the ministry noted.

According to the correspondent of TASS, the hospital will be deployed in Turkey.

It is designed for autonomous operation in various climatic zones. In an emergency zone, it unfolds in 40 minutes. The total capacity of surgical, therapeutic and outpatient departments is up to 100 people, depending on the severity of the condition.

A powerful earthquake of magnitude 7.7 occurred on Monday in the province of Kahramanmaras in southeastern Turkey. Later, another earthquake of magnitude 7.7 occurred in Turkey.
