The recruitment campaign for volunteers for the regional championship of working professions "Young Professionals" WorldSkills Russia has started in the AIS system "Youth of Russia". This was announced to TASS on Monday by the director of the Republican Youth Employment Center "Success" of the Ministry of Labor of Dagestan, the head of the coordinating WorldSkills Russia in Dagestan Shamil Magomedov.


"In the AIS system "Youth of Russia" a campaign has been launched to recruit volunteers to participate in the organization of the largest championship of working professions - the third regional championship "Young Professionals" WorldSkills Russia of Dagestan," Magomedov said.

According to him, become a volunteer The WorldSkills Russia Championship, which will be held in Kaspiysk from February 27 to March 1, 2018, is open to every young person aged 14 to 30.

"It is planned to recruit 100 volunteers who will help the organizers with transportation and accommodation of spectators , organization of competition grounds, etc. They will be given accreditation and a special uniform. In addition, they will be provided with food and will be able to travel by transport for free," the agency's interlocutor added.

Competitions will be held in 27 competencies. In 2018, such new competencies as industrial design, control of unmanned aerial vehicles, mobile robotics, floristry, furniture production, photography and applied aesthetics were added, Magomedov said.

The championship is organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of Dagestan.< br>
WorldSkills in Dagestan

The first regional WorldSkills competition in Dagestan was held from 28 to 29 April 2016. For two days, 59 students of secondary specialized educational institutions of the republic competed in 14 competencies.

WorldSkills International is an international movement whose main goal is to improve the quality of vocational training in working professions, as well as the prestige of working professions and the development of vocational education by harmonizing the best practices and professional standards throughout the world, through the organization and holding of professional skill competitions, both in each individual country and around the world as a whole. Russia joined the movement in 2012. In 2019, the WorldSkills competition will be held in Kazan.
