The Qatari government has again allowed Russian citizens who are fully vaccinated with the country's approved anti-covid drugs to visit the emirate without being in quarantine. This is evidenced by the new rules for entry into the country published on Tuesday on the website of the Qatari Ministry of Health, which come into force on December 1. hours before arrival in Qatar, a PCR test for coronavirus, provided that they have completed a full course of vaccination with one of the approved drugs no later than 14 days before the trip, namely the vaccine of the American company Pfizer and its German partner BioNTech, the drugs of the American companies Moderna and Johnson & Johnson or a vaccine from the British-Swedish company AstraZeneca.

The Russian drug Sputnik V, as well as the Chinese Sinopharm and Sinovac Biotech, are considered conditionally approved in Qatar, therefore, citizens from green list countries who received two doses of these vaccines before going to the emirate it is also necessary to pass a serological test (a blood test to detect antibodies to coronavirus in it). If you cannot take this test in your home country, you can take it upon arrival in Qatar, but you will have to be quarantined for seven days.

Those who have only one vaccination against coronavirus must undergo a seven-day quarantine upon arrival in Qatar, having a PCR test done 72 hours before the trip. On the sixth day of quarantine, another PCR test is carried out, and if the results are negative, the arrival is allowed to complete the quarantine on the seventh day.
