The RGNAUKU project started in Kazakhstan

On February 10, a new educational project of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Kazakhstan RGNAUKU was launched at the Gabit Musrepov Regional Children's and Youth Library.
The event, organized by members of the Kazakhstan Pedagogical Club, aroused great interest among schoolchildren. After all, they had to figure out a difficult but very interesting topic: is science fiction fiction or science?
A real discussion broke out. The guys were interested to hear the polar opinions of experts. The famous philologist Olga Vasilyeva advocated that science fiction is primarily literature. She was opposed by Irina Shmigirilova, Professor of Computer Science and Mathematics at the North Kazakhstan University named after M. Kozybayev. She argued that many writers in their works were able to predict the development of science.
Especially for the RGNAUKU project, the library staff has prepared a wonderful book exhibition with a selection of the best works of science fiction writers. The meeting ended with the quiz "Science Fiction Connoisseur".
Earlier, a meeting-seminar of doctors with Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Academy of Medical Education named after F.I. Inozemtsev, Doctor of Medical Sciences Olga Pustotina took place in Astana within the framework of the RGNAUKU project.
Teachers of the Astana Medical Academy, students, obstetricians and gynecologists from polyclinics of the capital of Kazakhstan gathered in the hall to ask their questions to a Russian specialist and share treatment methods.
Olga Pustotina presented a professional development program for doctors at a Russian university, spoke about the scientific and educational project "Expert Science" and presented a new textbook on breastfeeding.
A significant part of the seminar was devoted to the issues of Kazakhstani doctors who were interested in new treatment protocols in Russia and abroad, the possibility of using medicines and technologies in Kazakhstan.
The organizer of the meeting dedicated to the Day of Russian Science was the Russian House in Astana with the assistance of the Astana Medical University.
