Representatives of more than 20 regions will take part in the forum "Far East – Winter of discoveries"

The forum will be held on the peninsula on February 20-22 as part of the winter festival "Beringia-2023" and in the status of the official winter venue of the Russian Tourism Forum "Travel!".

The central theme of the forum is the development of tourism in the regions of the Far East and the Arctic. The participants of the forum "Far East – Winter of Discoveries" in 2023 will be representatives of more than 20 subjects of the Russian Federation, primarily the Far East and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. Covering 9 time zones, these regions are of steadily growing interest to tourists. Despite the objective infrastructural difficulties and limitations, it is here that tourists find answers to questions about what kind of pristine nature it is, how far our country stretches, how deep our multinational unity is, what kind of work is worth the development and development of the territories of our country.

The Far Eastern Federal District will be represented at the event by experts and participants from the Republic of Buryatia, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Primorsky, Kamchatka, Khabarovsk and Trans-Baikal Territories, Magadan, Sakhalin and Amur Regions, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. Representatives of the Murmansk and Arkhangelsk regions, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the city of Norilsk came from the Arctic regions. Siberia and the Urals will be represented by the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Kemerovo Region, the Altai Republic and the Chelyabinsk Region, and industry professionals from Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Kaluga Region will take part in the forum from Central Russia.

The Far East – Winter of Discoveries Forum will be held within the framework of the Beringia Winter Festival in Kamchatka for the third time. Following the results of the 2021 forum, Governor of the Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Solodov decided to make the event an annual event.
