Philippines launches massive coronavirus vaccination campaign

Mass mobilization for vaccination in the Philippines. The country has launched a campaign in which it is planned to vaccinate against COVID-19 for nine million people in just three days. 


Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte said: “This campaign is our only chance to accelerate vaccination and achieve 70% immunization coverage,” said Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte. “We expect a total of 54 million Filipinos to be fully vaccinated by the end of this year.” .

Many people in the Philippines are hesitant to get vaccinated against the coronavirus, and the authorities hope the three-day campaign will help persuade such people to get vaccinated.
