Beijing has launched the international screening of documentaries of the Chinese Festival

The event is organized jointly by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Media Corporation of China (CMG).

The Media Corporation of China organized the creation of 60 documentaries and feature films in English, Spanish, French, Arabic and Russian, These works have become an example of mutual study of cultures and friendly exchanges between the participating countries. The films will be shown to the audience by almost a hundred media outlets around the world, as well as foreign Chinese cultural centers.

The opening ceremony of the second international documentary film festival of China "Belt and Road" was attended by Foreign Minister Qin Gang, Minister of Culture and Tourism Hu Heping and President of the Media Corporation of China CMG Shen Haixiong, online they were joined by more than 50 representatives from 40 countries and regions, heads of media organizations sent their sincere wishes for success via video link. General Director Alexander Lebedev addressed the audience on behalf of the TV channel "Big Asia". Since the Media Corporation of China organized the first Chinese Documentary Film Festival in June 2022, more than 50 multilingual documentaries have been shown by 128 media outlets and foreign organizations in more than 60 countries and regions.
