Participants of the quest will acquire cultural bonds

Schoolchildren and students from the CIS countries are invited to the online quest "Learning to understand Russia - learning to understand each other."


From October 26 to November 6, 2020, the Center for International and Socio-Political Studies "Caspian-Eurasia" and Astrakhan State Technical University at support of the Presidential Grants Fund & nbsp; implement the project “Online quest “Learning to understand Russia - learning to understand each other”” (on the eTutorium online platform).

More than 100 schoolchildren and students from the countries of the Caspian region and Central Asia will take part in the virtual quest, and their mentors will be experts from Astrakhan and Moscow - leading philologists, historians, local historians. 

According to the organizers, the purpose of the event is to increase social and information contacts between students and senior school students, to consolidate the professional community of teachers of the humanities in countries Caspian, as well as the formation of a common socio-cultural space in the Caspian. The online quest is designed to become a good educational, discussion and project platform, as well as to help increase the intercultural competence of expert mentors who attract young people to participate in the project. 

Online quest "Learning to understand Russia - learning to understand each other » includes: online lectures and practical exercises on working with information portals of Russian museums, theaters, libraries, as well as project work. Members   will independently search for the so-called cultural bonds: traditions, texts, cultural symbols and signs, while referring to the resources  Russian museums and libraries.

Schoolchildren and students from the countries of the Caspian region and Central Asia from 14 to 25 years old are invited to participate in the quest. 

indicating the participant's country of residence, last name and first name, place of study (educational institution, course / class, full-time or part-time study), native language and the language in which the training takes place, as well as indicate the e-mail address.
