Over 2.1 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccines administered in China

As of the evening of September 4, a total of 2,100,387,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 31 provincial-level administrative divisions of China and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Building, according to the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China.

Shanghai launched a massive vaccination campaign for children aged 12 to 14 on September 3rd. Schools have arranged for students to receive COVID-19 vaccinations at designated locations, and some students are receiving vaccinations at schools where community health centers have set up temporary on-campus vaccination sites.

COVID-19 vaccination efforts for minors in ages 12 to 17 are also being actively undertaken in Guangdong in southern China. In Duanzhou District, Zhaoqing City, 63,800 teenagers aged 12 to 17 received the coronavirus vaccine.
