The largest chemical enterprise in the south of Russia, Nevinnomyssky Azot (Stavropol Territory), will produce up to 4 tons of liquid oxygen per day. This was reported to journalists on Monday in the press service of the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Communications of the region.

“JSC Nevinnomyssky Azot, located in the city of Nevinnomyssk, received a license and registration oxygen]. At the first stage, the production capacity of the plant will be 2.5 tons of liquid oxygen per day. This will make it possible to cover about 15% of the daily demand observed in the Stavropol Territory at the moment,” the report says.

It is noted that the peak productivity of the plant should be up to 4 tons per day.

“Currently, Stavrolen in Budennovsk is also involved in obtaining a registration certificate for the production of liquid oxygen for medical use. We expect that the plant will be able to produce and supply the substance until the end of 2021,” said the Minister of Energy, Industry and Communications of the Stavropol Territory Vitaly Shulzhenko, whose words are quoted in the message.

According to the press -services, the production capacity of factories will be enough to cover up to 30% of the region's needs. The presence of our own production workshops in the Stavropol Territory will ensure the fastest delivery of liquid medical oxygen to medical institutions in the region.
