Nepal becomes 61st country to approve Sputnik V

RDIF confirmed that Nepal has registered the Sputnik V vaccine.

Nepal has registered the Russian coronavirus vaccine Sputnik V. This was reported by the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

"Nepal became the 61st country to approve Sputnik V," the report says.

Earlier, Reuters announced the approval for use in emergencies of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine in Nepal. The agency said that the country began vaccinating the population with AstraZeneca (AstraZeneca) in January, but then the use of this vaccine was suspended due to its shortage.
