It is now difficult to meet people on the streets of the Russian capital - unless they are employees of the housing and communal services sector or law enforcement officers.

The software of the checkpoint system developed by the Metropolitan City Hall continues to develop. It is now technically possible to combine the artificial intelligence of the municipality issuing passes with traffic control cameras. Thus, people who use vehicles without a pass will be fined immediately.

In the event of a deterioration in the epidemiological situation, an emergency regime may be declared, in which public transport stops moving, all shops, including large and small grocery stores, are closed and a curfew is in place. However, the situation in Moscow and in Russia as a whole is quite favorable. Moreover, the number of deaths from the coronavirus pandemic is lower than in other developed countries, despite the fact that, by the statute of limitations, Russia has clearly already entered the culminating phase of the spread of the infection. So, the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that Russia will reach the "peak of the coronavirus" in the week of April 27.
