The departments have agreed an additional 450 flights per week in Turkey until 1 July. Zarina Doguzova, head of the Federal Tourism Agency, announced this during the government hour in the State Duma.

“We together with  expansion of air communication with & nbsp; friendly countries that are ready to receive our tourists. We had 290 flights every week to Turkey. Just last week, until  1 July, more than 450 more flights per week were also agreed on  to Turkish direction, , 

According to her, this measure will help tour operators fulfill their obligations to tourists. She said that now the debts of tour operators to tourists for failed tours amount to about 40 billion rubles, of which 5 billion rubles are due to "covid" debts. “The situation is really very difficult, and, on the one hand, it is important for us to support the industry, mass bankruptcies are not needed, because this, first of all, affects the tourist. On the other hand, it is important for us to create conditions so that tour operators can pay off their debts, send tourists on trips,” she explained.
