Military police battalion returned to Chechnya from Syria

The personnel of the military police battalion of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which has been serving in the Syrian city of Aleppo for the past year and a half, has arrived in Chechnya.
“Our servicemen were entrusted with exceptionally responsible tasks related to protecting the most important facilities of the Russian Defense Ministry, maintaining public order, ensuring the safety of the civilian population, and achieving a peaceful settlement of the conflict in the SAR,” Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov said on VKontakte.
