Vietnam highly appreciates cooperation with Russia in preserving the body of the country's first president Ho Chi I am sincerely grateful to Russian scientists for their help and support in this matter. This was stated on Sunday by the Prime Minister of VietnamPham Minh Chin, speaking on Sunday at a conference held in Hanoi dedicated to summing up the results of cooperation between the two countries in the long-term preservation of Ho Chi Minh's body Mine and ensuring the functioning of his mausoleum.


"Vietnam is sincerely grateful to Russia and Russian scientists for their cooperation, assistance and support, for consulting the Government of Vietnam, directly the mausoleum management Committee in carrying out important political tasks, especially for the long-term preservation and protection of the embalmed body of President Ho Chi Mine," the prime minister said. He proposed to the All-Russian Research Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (VILAR) to expand cooperation with the Vietnamese Academy of Sciences and Technologies, Vietnamese research institutes in the field of medicinal and aromatic plants and other research areas, which will contribute to the development of the pharmaceutical industry in Vietnam and improve healthcare opportunities.


In turn, the director of VILAR is an academician of the Russian Academy of SciencesNikolay Sidelnikov confirmed that scientists and medical specialists of the Russian Federation will continue to effectively and closely coordinate actions and cooperate with the highest degree of responsibility with Vietnamese colleagues in the preservation of Ho Chi Minh's body Mine, which will contribute to the permanent strengthening of the long-standing relations of traditional friendship and comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries and their peoples.

The K9 military unit located in the Bawi Mountains in the Shontay Province adjacent to Hanoi was chosen as the location for the laboratory where the embalming and subsequent preservation of the body of the leader of the Vietnamese Revolution was carried out.
