The Chinese authorities have published a guide to the popularization of science.


The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC Central Committee) and the State Council of the People's Republic of China have published a guide to popularize science among the population and create suitable conditions for the innovative and technical development of the country. This was reported on Sunday by the Xinhua news agency.


The document states that the dissemination of scientific knowledge and the popularization of science are key means for the innovative and technical development of the country and sets a number of tasks to achieve this goal.


It is planned that by 2025 the share of Chinese citizens with scientific literacy will exceed 15%, and by 2035 this figure is planned to increase to 25%. In addition, the leadership of the People's Republic of China plans to significantly expand the range of public services related to the dissemination of scientific knowledge and create the conditions necessary for the development of science and innovation in the country.
