"Servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Kyrgyz Republic are taking part in the multinational exercises "Ephesus-2022" in the Republic of Turkey," the message says.

According to the press service, the training takes place in two stages. The first one began on May 8 in Izmir and took place "in a command and staff format using computer modeling." The second one will be held from May 28 to June 9.

"Until June 9, practical actions with live firing as part of joint multinational units are planned at the Doganbey training ground in Izmir. The purpose of the exercises is to increase the level of combat training, the skill of special forces," the message emphasizes.

The Ministry of Defense of Kyrgyzstan is confident that the participation of the republic's military personnel in maneuvers on the territory of Turkey "allows you to gain experience in organizing interaction as part of a multinational group of troops."

The number of participants in the Efes-2022 exercises, including representatives of the Kyrgyz contingent, is not indicated.
