Restrictions are lifted both at airports and ports of the country.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Cyprus has decided to cancel the requirement for tourists entering the country to present a coronavirus vaccination certificate and a PCR test result. As the Cyprus Mail newspaper reported on Friday, the decision comes into force on June 1.

It is noted that "from June 1, all travelers, regardless of their country of origin, are no longer required to present a valid certificate of vaccination, a certificate of a previous illness, the results of a PCR test or an express antigen test." Restrictions are lifted both at airports and ports of the country.

The reason for making such a decision, it is claimed, is the improvement of the epidemic situation.
