Japanese squadron anchored in Indonesia

The Japanese naval squadron, consisting of three pennants, embarked on a raid in the port of Tanjung Priok, in close proximity to the capital of Indonesia, Jakarta.

800 Japanese sailors arrived aboard their ships for a three-day official visit.

This is the second country visited by the squadron within two month trip. Previously, ships have already entered the Philippines. In the future, the naval command of Japan plans successive stops of the squadron in the ports of Singapore. Sri Lanka and India.

It is noted that the Kaga helicopter carrier is in the squadron. This is the second ship of the Izumo class in the naval self-defense forces of the Imperial Fleet of the Land of the Rising Sun.
